  • Login instructions for students

    Please remember that all internal SAS students should login using the SAS user login option. Please use your SAS email address as your username and your usual password for emails. If you are an external student please use the external user login, using the login details previously given to you.

  • Setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA)

SITS client, evision and application form will be unavailable Tuesday 23rd June between 8am and c. 10am whilst we carry out maintenance.


Previous planned outages for student records systems:

  • SITS client, evision and SID – Sunday 2nd Feb. pm c. 5 hours.
  • SITS client and evision – Tuesday 11th Feb 8am to 2pm
  • Student Portal – Monday 9th March short outage am
  • SID – Tuesday 17th March 8am to 9am
  • SITS client, evision and the application form - Thursday 23rd April 8am to 10am

    Resolved - We’ve fixed it!

    Due to an unexpected service incident, you may have experienced intermittent access issues and slowness when opening Similarity Reports, as well as received errors when attempting to grade, or add feedback in Turnitin and Turnitin UK today. Users accessing these services via an integration may also have been affected. We are pleased to advise that service has been restored.

    The incident occurred between the following times:

    PST: January 16th 02:19 - January 16th 07:31
    GMT: January 16th 10:19 - January 16th 15:31
    AEDT: January 16th 21:19 - January 17th 02:31

    We regret any inconvenience this may have caused if you were impacted by today’s incident.

    Investigating - We’ve run into some issues.

    Due to an unexpected service incident, users of Turnitin and Turnitin UK may be experiencing intermittent access issues and slowness when opening Similarity Reports, as well as receiving errors when attempting to grade or add feedback.
